Information About the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008


SBA is kicking off a campaign to inform small businesses of the depreciation and expensing provisions included in the Economic Stimulus Act (ESA) of 2008.  Three education tools have been created and made available at:   http://www.sba.gov/stimulus/   The tools include a fact sheet highlighting the tax benefits, an eight-minute online seminar summarizing the tax incentives for small businesses and a Depreciation Calculator that allows small businesses to obtain an estimate of their first year depreciation under the Act.  A link to the IRS has also been included for more information.
